book worked well for class
I bought it used for really cheap for a college course and it was in better condition than I expected. The outside covers had normal wear but the inside pages weren't written on or wrip.
I enjoyed this college class very much, and purchasing this from saved me ALOT of money.
Not the most riveting reading, of course, although even in that regard, it's much better than most. But this book gives a good amount of detail on a large number of topics in the non-Biological Sciences, from Physics and Chemistry through Astronomy and Geology. It's an excellent intro to a large range of subject matter, and is mostly pretty understandable and readable for the non-specialist.
